Vipassana
Feeling super blessed!
Two weeks ago, I left on a Pilgrimage to the magical lands of the Blue Mountains, where I set out to connect with our divine mother, and sit another 10 day Vipassana Meditation Course.
With it's high electromagnetic energy, the frequancies held in this ancient and very sacred part of Australia, hold a space for deep healing, activation and awakening.
Shortly after arriving in Blackheath, I was guided by a local to where I would find an old sacred Initiation site once used by the Indigenous men of the region. I then set off to connect with what was now the second initiation site, that had come into my field within two weeks. As I followed the markings on the tracks into the bush, I found myself stepping out onto a cliffs edge, where I was presented with a vast and magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and boulders. The energy was expansive, conscious, and held a presence and stillness that was breathtaking.
After spending some time here in meditation, and deep gratitude for the transmissions I was receiving, I continued my journey deep into the bush, where I was then blessed to find a beautiful Lyrebird feather. The Lyrebird has one of the most intricate voice boxes in the animal kingdom, the medicine that came through for me with this, was to continue to speak my truth, and share my song.
Ironically, the next day I entered Nobel Silence and 10 days of Vipassana Mediation, where we sat in observation to what was arising within and meeting it with equanimity (Allowing it to be, as it is)
"The old mental habit is to seek to push away painful sensations and to pull in pleasurable ones. So long as one is involved in the game of pain-and-pleasure, push-and-pull, the mind remains agitated, and one’s misery increases. But once one learns to observe objectively without identifying with the sensations, then the process of purification starts, and the old habit of blind reaction and of multiplying one’s misery is gradually weakened and broken. This is the path of purification" - S. N. Goenka
These sensations that we carry within us are called Saṅkhāras, they are conditioning from the past, and stored in our energetic field, unless we learn to process, release, and integrate them into our awareness and understanding, they are overlaied into the world around us, attracting and creating continual suffering and misery.
When all Saṅkhāras are released, just like Buddha, one then reaches full liberation.
This was a beautiful journey and one that supported the release of many old habits and conditioning that no longer served me. I would encourage everyone to give Vipassana at least one go. The stillness and clarity that comes from it is enlightening. The food is deeply nourishing, the views are captivating, and the centre in Blackheath is renowned to be one of the best in the world.
I will be heading back up to sit again in the next two months, and will be connecting with some more of Australia's power spots on the way. If there is any Adelaide or Melbourne tribe, that would like to join me, then hit me up, as I'm sure it will be another magical journey.
